Michael Hurd, President, Construction Division, has been in the electrical contracting industry for 27 years. Mike completed his four-year apprenticeship in 1977. He worked as a journeyman and service truck foreman for six years. He joined Fischbach and Moore and in 1984 he was presented a Washington Building Congress award for craftsmanship for the work he completed in the "meeting room lighting, Shoreham Hotel," in Washington, D.C. He completed his time with Fischbach and Moore as an account manager.
In 1995 Mike started with Natelco as an account manager. He was promoted to vice president in 1996 and then to senior vice president. In 1999 his team was presented the WBC Craftsmanship Award for interior office lighting at the Greenwell and Goetz Company project. Today he is president of the construction division with a team of six project managers and two estimators specializing in tenant remodeling.
